Stamping forming


Stamping is a processing and forming method that relies on the press and die to apply external forces to the plate, strip, pipe and profile to produce plastic deformation or separation, so as to obtain the required shape and size of the workpiece (stamping parts). The pressed billets are mainly hot and cold rolled steel plates and steel strips. Of the world's steel, 60 to 70 percent is sheet metal, most of which is stamped into finished products. Automobile body, chassis, fuel tank, radiator, boiler drum, container shell, motor, electrical core silicon steel sheet, etc., are stamping processing. Instruments, household appliances, bicycles, office machinery, utensils and other products, there are also a large number of stamping parts.

Compared with other processing methods, stamping processing has many unique advantages, both in terms of technology and economy, mainly in the following aspects:

(1) The dimensional accuracy is guaranteed by the mold, so the quality of the machined parts is stable, the consistency is good, and it has the characteristics of "identical"

(2) stamping can obtain parts with thin walls, light weight, good rigidity, high surface quality and complex shape that cannot or are difficult to manufacture by other processing methods;

(3) High material utilization rate, less, no chips processing;

(4) High efficiency, easy operation, the required worker technical level is not high;

(5) Long service life of the mold and low production cost.
